
Queenstown Airport Community Fund
The Queenstown Airport Community Fund reflects Queenstown Airport’s ongoing
commitment to supporting the local community and aligns with its broader sustainability objectives.

Through this initiative, Queenstown Airport aims to create meaningful and lasting impact by empowering grassroots organisations that contribute to the well-being of the region’s people and environment.
This fund is worth $50,000 annually and is available for organisations doing great work to support our communities. Grants will range between $1000 and $5000.
Not-for-profits operating in the Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago districts are eligible to apply to the fund.
The Fund is administered on behalf of Queenstown Airport by the Wakatipu Community Foundation.

Amount of Funds Available
$50,000 per year
Amount granted will range from $1000 to $5000.
Purpose:
Funds are available to organisations working in the following areas

Arts and Culture
-
Community Wellbeing and Support
-
Conservation, Environment and Sustainability
-
Heritage
-
Lifelong Learning
-
Sport and Recreation that Brings Communities Together
Eligibility:
Location: Not-for-profits based in QLDC and CODC regions, OR if based nationally, the funds need to benefit the communities in these territories.
Organisation Type: Charitable organisation, Incorporated Society, Maori authority, School, or an organisation registered with NZ Charities Services.
Exclusions:

Individuals are not eligible to apply

Political organisations, religious activities, or lobby groups

Facilities or services which are usually those of central government
-
Where there isn’t a clear community benefit
-
Projects that have already commenced, or operational costs that have occurred in the past.
